So I'm reading everyone's reviews, and I'm starting to think no one understands the point of this game.
In any case, I think there's a nice message behind the money and the never-ending loop. Another thing, the silence seems weirdly appropriate, so keep it. Jus' sayin'.

(P.S. It's hard to rate an art game, so I just gave it a 2.5/5-5/10)

Thanks for the feedback! I would love to know what you think it is about. Art is supposed to speak for itself so I refrain from just blurting out what my goals and subject matter is.

P. S. This is Newgrounds so you rate it however you feel like :)

The entire game feels like something you would play in one sitting, waiting for someone to drop by. That's not a bad thing, but I also have a bit of nitpickings with this game. The character animation is dull. Just plain dull. Two stubs for legs and a giant blue coat gets annoying to look at after a while.

The gameplay feels great. Steering through the air to dodge (what look like) Ninja stars while shooting in a parallel direction just has a spectacular feel to it. I like the dash of Metroid exploration you added in there. Searching for spells so my MC can get home lets me know that the game's map is large indeed. Another thing, were you by any chance inspired by Level Up? The level design seems weirdly familiar. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you should give that game a try.

This game is amazingly stable in terms of movement and controls.
The game has this type of "Mega Man" effect when it comes to teaching the player HOW and WHEN to implement their movements. For example, when you're introduced to the "Slippery floors", you start the level with someone next to a Wet Floor sign, obviously signaling that the floor, is indeed, wet.

People seem to generally complain about one thing: The difficulty.

I'm fine with it. A-ok, actually. It reminds me of Rayman Orgins. The controls are responsive and the level design is fair, so it's always your fault when you die. No one else's.

You received 5 stars because of the following:

-Your technique of tutoring the player the fundamentals.
-Solid controls, always responsive.
-Short, easy to understand story.
-"NES" Type difficulty in platforming and speed run maps.

It's an interesting take on survival and does it's best to create a new experience, but it's fairly boring after a while. For some unknown and odd reason, it reminds me of Parasite Eve, But that's just me.

The battle system itself is without flaws. You gain, but with a price, so it's always on fair grounds. The teamwork system, constantly switching between teammates, is a great idea, but it felt tedious. Always watching your allies stats made me feel like some old announcer guy who sits there clicking buttons and playing God. I don't know what it is, and I don't know why I don't like it, but I'm giving this a 3/5. It's not flawed in any way, but it just felt "wrong."

I Agree with AHorriblePerson

He's right. This game would be SOOOOO much better with the handhelds. Multiplayer would be appreciated but it's definitely not needed. The game's BGM is at it's finest, and fits the scenery well. Also, am I the only one who got stuck at the second boss?

Though repetitive, still fun...

Even though this game's events never really change, it is still fun to a massive degree. At first, I thought this game was a bit lazy, but now I see that it fits the concept in a way. The ONLY reason why one star is missing is simply because of one key component: A real narrative. Somewhere along the way, I couldn't ignore the fact that the main character seemed curiously mute. It's hard to imagine that someone would stay so silent after beating the crap out of a Werewolf. Overall, the core gameplay is fantastic, and I BEG of you not to change the gameplay in the future. You could add some new abilities and etc. but DO NOT change the gameplay; it seems like one of the components that reels me in every time I play this game.

You know, if you want some, there's some candy left over in my van.
